Mount Merbabu Trekking Tour (Magelang, Central Java)

Mt.Merbabu is located in Magelang, Central Java. Its height is 3145 ASL. Many call merbabu as "Merapi's Silent Sister" because it is located next to Mt.Merapi and no longer active. You can see Mt.Merapi while passing the beautiful savanna here.

We will drive (as the schedule), from Yogyakarta to Chuntel Basecamp (2-3hours). Here we spend few hours in basecamp before we start trekking to the top. It takes 5-7 hours walk to reach the top.
From the top you can see Merapi as Merbabu's sister and many mountains surrounding.

After enjoying the scenery and some hot teas/hot coffees, we will headback to Chuntel basecamp or Selo Basecamp (by request). It takes 5 - 6 hours to reach the Chuntel basecamp or Selo Basecamp from the top. Afterwards we will have a lunch.
